General Roles and Responsibilities  

Quality Assurance Responsibilities  

• Collect aseptic samples from product vessels 

• Conduct microbiological and chemical testing of samples 

• Perform data entry and analysis 

• Operate a UV-vis spectrometer 

• Operate miscellaneous quality assurance equipment (e.g., luminometer, C-box, DMA) 

• Assist with research & development projects 

• Plan and implement studies with the brewery, cellar, and packaging teams 

• Maintain a clean workspace 

Packaging Responsibilities  

• Operate miscellaneous packaging equipment (e.g., CTC-10, keg washer/filler, case erector, 6-pack erector) including but not limited to: 

  • Preparation, Operation & troubleshooting, Emergency repairs, Daily clean-up and shutdown. 

• Display a positive attitude and logical approach to assigned tasks and unexpected challenges 

• Maintain flexibility with scheduling regarding production needs 

• Display a working knowledge of mechanical and automated equipment, including ability to contact and communicate with staff and/or technicians to effectively address issues and solve them in a timely manner 

• Display an understanding of the brewing process with focus on important factors in packaged beer 

• Display a sense of responsibility through assistance of all co-workers in ensuring completion of departmental duties
